Jawhorns are creatures whose jaws are their horns. Or their horns their jaws.
Smokelings are magical steampunk-like cyborgs with engines and machines implanted into their bodies and granting them various powers.
Both groups used to be powerful and influential but ever since have (nearly?) been wiped out by younger races.
