If you visit Germany, go to the Black Forest.
There, find Widdershins Point and follow the correct moves to access the door to Earth's Third Hemisphere (Lord Dunsany's term) and win past all the perils to Pontecheval Bridge. Come to think of it, best board the Coach with the Six Insides. You won't get past the bat-Rat-Spider that guards the entry gate to Domdaniel otherwise.
Once in the Court of Dragons, go to Dr. Ottermoel's Zoo of Unnatural History. You'll find the Basilick there. View it through a filtering glass.
