Description
This is hopefully final remake for now. Heavily influenced by the Chamjari version especially around the face. (Look his version up it's excellent!) I have however kept the shark-like gills on the neck. Tentacles lack suckers now but instead have a groove along their entire length which can contract itself helping them to grasp objects.
I guess everything turns out better when I draw it seen from the side view xP
A Taste of Pale Flesh
"The thing was a giant; taller than two men. Its flesh was pale and blubbery, and from its great humped form sprouted four limbs like those of an octopus but positioned like those of a man. On its enormous flabby head shone two eyes conveying a strange intelligence. When our shaman looked over the thing, observing that it was neither man or animal, and declared it to be a god of the ocean, no one doubted him."

Wow thanks for the high praise. I really like this version too, and not just because the face resembles my sculpt^^I really dig the grooved tentacle idea. Actually, after I made my sculpt I was embarrassed about the skull-like nasal cavity. It looked creepy because of the concepts we have of death and creepiness, but I couldn't figure out why an aquatic creature would have a nose hole there. Maybe, because these creatures can imitate and assume a myriad of shapes it had co-opted a more human like visage, or the nose hole serves a specific function like echo location or expelling some sort of defensive chemical. Anyway, this is another good version of Bashaw's interesting creatures.
